About the Conference
The two-day National Conference explored the emerging field of Vulnerability Studies, with special emphasis on representations of precarity, survival and resistance in contemporary Indian literary and cultural narratives.
The Conference initiated meaningful academic dialogue on vulnerability as shaped by caste, labour, gender, migration, ecology, religion and socio-political structures in the Indian context, while also envisioning an alternative framework rooted in regional and national experiences.
Collaborative Initiative
The Conference was organised as a collaborative academic initiative under Memoranda of Understanding with:
