Christmas Carol Service “HOPE 2021” December 23, 2021 This year’s Christmas Carol Service, HOPE 2021, was held on 23 December 2021 at 10:30 a.m. in the College Chapel. Rev. Minoy N. Kuruvilla, Vicar, Ebenezer Mar Thoma Church, Vazhakulam, served as the Chief Guest. The event commenced with the procession led by the SCM Choir, followed by the prayer led by Rev. Daniel Mathew, College Chaplain and Vicar of St. Paul’s Mar Thoma Church, Perumbavoor. The gathering was welcomed by Ms. Rinnah Mary Thomas, SCM Student Coordinator. Dr. Sujo Mary Varghese, Principal, Mar Thoma College for Women, Perumbavoor delivered the Presidential Address. The Christmas Message was delivered by our Chief Guest Rev. Minoy N. Kuruvilla. Beautiful and merry Carols were rendered by the SCM Choir, Association Choirs of various Departments and Staff Choir. There was also a touching musical performance by our students enacting the story of Christ’s birth to death from the point of view of Mother Mary. Santa Claus and his merry troupe joined in from the Commerce (Computer Application) Association. Lessons were read from the Holy Bible by staff and students of our College. The Vote of Thanks was proposed by Ms. Preethi Sara Joseph, SCM Faculty Coordinator. Rev. Minoy N. Kuruvilla led the closing prayer which was followed by the benediction by Rev. Daniel Mathew.
