ABOUT
The B.Voc. Programme in Tourism and Hospitality Management was granted to the College by the University Grants Commission (UGC) in the year 2018. This intensive and comprehensive UnderGraduate Programme is spread over a period of three years. The dynamic curriculum prepares the students to adapt to the evolving trends and demands of today’s Travel and Tourism industry. The Courses have been designed to suit the contemporary requirements of the industry and aims at promoting skill development and entrepreneurship among students. The Programme has a strong Institute and Industry Interface which includes guest talks, seminars and panel discussions.
The Department conducts industrial visits to various centers of repute in the tourism industry and encourages students to showcase and market their skills at various forums. In order to encourage innovation, the Department has formed the Innovation Cell for Vocational Studies which comprises a start- up for tourism related entrepreneurship, providing consultancy services and tour packages at nominal rates.
