Seminar Hall. The meeting began with a prayer song led by Ms. Angel Sara Sunil (I B.A. English), followed by the Welcome Speech by Ms. Chaithanya Elsa Achankunju (Faculty Coordinator, Women Cell & Assistant Professor of English). Prof. Dr. Letha P. Cheriyan, Principal, offered the Presidential Address and Adv. Elizabeth Mammen Mathai Ex.MLA (Member, Kerala Women’s Commission) gave the Inaugural Address. Dr. Niji C.1. (Member, College Governing Council & Associate Professor of English, Government College, Tripunithara) offered felicitation at the session. A highly enlightening session by Adv. Prabha M. on Premarital Counselling then followed. The interactive session dealt with awareness on self-worth, nurture and nature, how grooming of abuse happens, setting boundaries and its various types, financial freedom and financial abuse, need to rewire oneself, protecting oneself and reacting bravely to abuse, the legal acts such as POSH, POSCO, Marital Act, etc.. More than 100 students and staff participated in the programme. Food and other compliments were distributed to the participants by the Commission. At the end, Ms. Minnu George, Secretary, Women Cell, proposed the Vote of Thanks.
