Department initiatives to promote co-curricular activities

Apart from educational growth and excellence ,adequate measures are taken to ensure integrated development of the personality of students, which includes physical cultural, aesthetic, social, mental and emotional aspects. With this motive, Department has undertaken the following activities

Commerce Association

All students who have joined BCom Finance and Taxation are members of Commerce Association

Functionaries include: –

Faculty involvement – Staff in Charge of Commerce Association

Students’ involvement – Commerce Association Secretary, Commerce Association Treasurer, 2 Students members from First, Second and Third year

Entrepreneurship Development Club (ED Club)

Entrepreneurship Development Club to inculcate entrepreneurship qualities, to sensitise industrial scenario of the state, to nurture the latent entrepreneurial talent, develop awareness among its members of the attitudes, values, and skills of successful entrepreneurs around the globe etc. Activities include

  • Interaction with a leading/established Entrepreneurs every year
  • Self-Employable skill development programs like paper bag making, jewelry designing, mehndi, beautician , food processing etc
  • Inter departmental competitions and activities that promote entrepreneurship

Capital Market Training

Regular workshops and classes are conducted to promote awareness on capital market trading activities, career prospects in capital market, investor awareness programmes for students and staff of the college.
